Troubled auto-component maker Amtek Auto on Monday reported a net loss of Rs.528.7 crore for the quarter ending March, compared to a net profit of Rs.129.8 crore in the same period last year.
The steep decline in performance came in mainly due to an exceptional loss of Rs.439 crore, along with a sharp fall of 32% in its top-line, taking its total income to Rs.651 crore as against Rs.955 crore in the period last year.
In the January-March period of 2015, the company had posted an exceptional gain of Rs.180 crore.
