“We are delighted to roll out our 4G services in Siliguri, this is a milestone for Airtel with Siliguri becoming the first town in north Bengal to experience Airtel 4G. We also have plans to cover all major locations in north Bengal and Sikkim shortly,” Airtel CEO – West Bengal & Odisha, Ravindra Singh Negi said.
Airtel 4G is available to customers across a range of smart devices including mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles and can enjoy Airtel 4G at the price of Airtel 3G with the option of choosing from a host of attractive tariff packs, a release said.
Airtel 4G in Siliguri has been rolled out using spectrum band of 2300 MHz band.
