AirAsia unveils new routes in India; offers cheap flight tickets starting at Rs 2,299

AirAsia India has announced that it will launch some new routes in the country and the airfares will be priced starting from Rs 2,299.

AirAsia India has announced that it will launch some new routes in the country and the airfares will be priced starting from Rs 2,299. All the new AirAsia flights will connect Ranchi with different cities in India. There will be daily flights operating from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Bhubaneshwar. The first flight under the new plan will fly on October 7 this year, according to the carrier’s India website. AirAsia, on the website, writes: “Launching daily direct flights! Fly from Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar & Hyderabad to Ranchi.” If you are interested to fly on these routes, you will have to book flight tickets in advance for these routes: Ranchi to Bengaluru, Ranchi to Bhubaneswar, and Ranchi to Hyderabad, the company said.

Meanwhile, as a part of the promotional scheme, AirAsia India is offering all-inclusive airfares starting at Rs 2,299 on its new direct flights to Ranchi for a limited time period, according to AirAsia India website. AirAsia has informed that the ticket prices are only applicable between October 7, 2017, and November 21, 2018. In the new offer, the price Rs 2,299 is applicable on the Ranchi to Bhubaneshwar route. When we last checked, the Bhubaneshwar-Ranchi AirAsia flight was priced at Rs 2,299 on October 7, 2017. Meanwhile, airfares on the other routes were slightly higher, Rs 2799 on Hyderabad to Ranchi route and Rs 3299 on Bengaluru to Ranchi route.

AirAsia said that seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and that the offers are valid only for new purchases only. It added that the fares are only applicable if the flight seats are booked from its own website (www.airasia.com). It said, “a non-refundable processing fee” will be applied for payments using credit, debit or charge card and the fare “includes airport taxes (except for selected airports where airport tax is collected at the point of departure)”.

Meanwhile, AirAsia has another offer too. As a part of the festival season, the airline is offering tickets starting at Rs 1,199. The travel period for the offer is from September 11, 2017, to February 28, 2018. However, the festive sale is available only on the following routes: Kochi-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Bengaluru and Goa-Bengaluru routes.
