After hours: “I think work-life balance is a myth”

I start my day at 6am with a run on the beach. I head back at 7.15am to pack my two daughters to school. I am at work by 9.30am. I think work-life balance is a myth and I aim for a ‘blended life’.

THE JOB

I joined this company at its start-up stage so the journey has been special. I have had the opportunity to create a new brand and define the culture of the marketing team. Things I cherish in my role include people, creativity and the momentum. I enjoy mentoring, leading and motivating my teams to attain outstanding results.

THE WEEKDAYS

I start my day at 6am with a run on the beach. I head back at 7.15am to pack my two daughters to school. I am at work by 9.30am. I think work-life balance is a myth and I aim for a ‘blended life’. I leverage technology to integrate my work and family life better. A large part of the day is spend with the different teams and our agencies to brainstorm, plan or focus on execution.

THE TOYS

One gadget that I am hooked onto is my Apple iPhone. However, I prefer the real world to gadgets. I would rather read or be outdoors.

THE LOGOS

I prefer Nike sports for my runs and iPhone.
