Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing three years in power and said this is the first time that the country has got a government that is working for the people. He remembered the initiatives taken by the government in the last three years and praised them. Adityanath gave the example of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission initiatives. Yesterday, Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh also congratulated Prime Minister for completing three years. “Looking back at three years, we stand sufficiently vindictive from the point of view that series of new initiatives, some of them path breaking have been taken with the nucleus as the poor and youth of the country. When we started off, there was a general sense of pessimism all over the country and people looked up at Prime Minister Modi with great deal of expectation,” Singh told news agency ANI.
