A day after BJP leader Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as the 21st chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, his minister Shrikant Sharma has today stressed that the new government will focus on the safety of the people which will be given primary importance. He also said that there will be no tolerance towards crime in the state. Earlier in the day, Union Minister Venkaih Nadu expressed confidence that Yogi Adityanath will prove his critics wrong and will,be one of the most successful chief ministers in the country.
Today morning Yogi Adityanath met several top bureaucrats in the state including DGP Javeed Ahmed, Home Secretary Debasish Panda and Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar. The meeting took place at the VVIP guest house in Lucknow.
He along with two Deputy chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dinesh Sharma and other ministers had taken oath yesterday. During his oath ceremony Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit shah, chief ministers of BJP and its NDA allies were present. After the swearing in Swami Adityanath also hold a press conference in which had also said that his government will follow ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ policy of the government. Yogi Adityanath had also said that his government will also work for all irrespective of caste and religion.
He had also advised his ministers not to make statements that would hurt somebody’s sentiments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had some reassuring words. “Our sole mission & motive is development. When UP develops, India develops. We want to serve UP’s youth & create opportunities for them,” Modi tweeted.

“I have immense confidence that this new team will leave no stone unturned in making UP Uttam Pradesh (foremost state). There will be record development,” the Prime Minister added.
