PM Narendra Modi, through his NDA government at the Centre has been plugging his development vision since the very day he took the oath of office as the Prime Minister of India. In fact, he was ushered into that high office due to his economic welfare vision that he had announced during the lead-up to the General elections 2014. Since then, not even a day goes by when PM Modi does not highlight all the reforms initiatives that he has implemented since he has come to power and the ones that he will soon be deploying. From demonetisation, to greater liberalisation and ensuring ease of doing business in the country to making it easier for those in poverty to get subsidies, PM Modi has been the kind of newsmaker that India has rarely seen. Each and every aspect of his policy is suitably dissected to bring out the benefits to the public by the NDA ministers and even by PM Modi too from the many rallies he has been attending during the ongoing campaigning for the assembly elections in the 5 states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa. In fact, the note ban order by PM was explained as reforms drive that would get rid of black money prevalent in the country as well as provide a boost to digital payments in India and make the economy less cash-dependent.

Considering that he has done so much and invested so much time and effort in publicising his achievements, it is no surprise that many have sought to pass on messages to PM Modi through various ways. While it is not known whether the man under the spotlight now had any intention of grabbing the limelight by saying some things that may well get him into trouble, but caught on camera was a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA highlighting his impatience with development not reaching regions that he is concerned with and is responsible for to bring development and prosperity.

BJP Rajasthan MLA Bhawani Rajawat was video-taped while he was speaking to the public. Whether it will generate a controversy and lead to exemplary is still in the realm of conjecture, but his words will definitely serve as a wake-up call for those in authority at the Centre about economic well-being not reaching certain areas. That this is being highlighted by the party’s own legislators is definitely expected to grab the eye-balls at the highest echelons of the government. And what did the MLA Rajawat says? Well, here it is, “Until an airport for the public is not built in Kota, we should not let even PM’s aircraft to land here!”
