Congress leader Manish Tewari on Sunday said voices of tolerance are not tolerated in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Congress leader Manish Tewari on Sunday said voices of tolerance are not tolerated in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Tewari said, “Both these members of Parliament, whether it is Mr. Khalsa or it Mr. Gandhi, constitute the more sober elements of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. Therefore, it is very obvious that anyone who speaks the voice of sobriety, voice of reason, and the voice of tolerance is not tolerated in the Aam Aadmi Party.”

“The Aam Aadmi Party in the last three or four months has morphed into the Arvind Kejriwal Party, it’s no longer the Aam Aadmi Party,” he added.

Two Punjab MPs- Dharamvir Gandhi and Harinder Singh Khalsa were suspended on Saturday for anti-party activities.

They had organized a conference, parallel to that of the AAP at Baba Bakala on the occasion of Rakhar Puniya.

The three-member AAP National Disciplinary Action Committee, which includes Pankaj Gupta, Dilip Pandey and Deepak Bajpai, will look into the complaints of anti-party activities and indiscipline against Gandhi and Khalsa, the AAP said in a statement on Saturday.
