Uttar Pradesh Horror! In a gruesome incident that will shake you to the core, an 18-year-old Dalit girl was brutally burned alive in a village that falls under Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. The shocking incident took place when the girl was cycling to a vegetable market on Thursday. As per media reports, en route the Tedha bazar, the girl was surrounded by an unidentified group of men. The group attacked the girl and then splashed petrol over her. Not giving her any chance to run away, the group mercilessly set her ablaze. Screaming in pain, the girl in flames ran up to 100 metres making her last attempt to save herself but collapsed and died on the spot due to severe burn injuries. As per media reports, the group saw all this but didn't make any attempts to save the girl. After confirming the death of the girl, the group fled from the spot. The body of the girl was found few metres away from her house near a farmland. Her bicycle was also recovered from the same spot. However, there have been no reports of any eye-witness, as yet, who could help the police with any clues. Her body was spotted by the locals who informed the police and the girl's family members as well. Soon after, the victim's family rushed to the spot. The police, reportedly, finds it a case of revenge either from the girl or her family, as per prima facie evidence. However, the victim's family has denied enmity with anyone. The incident has left people in the area terrified. A case has been registered and a probe is underway in the case. ADG (Lucknow (zone) Rajeev Krishna has informed that he will be supervising the case and assured that the criminals will soon be nabbed by the police.
