UP Elections 2017: Attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 'adoption' remarks, Priyanka Gandhi questioned the people if UP need to adopt someone for development.
UP Elections 2017: On Friday afternoon, Congress’ Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed an election rally at Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli. Priyanka didn’t shy away from attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and raked up the ‘outsider’ status once again. Earlier, during his speech, Rahul hit out at Prime Minister Narendra for promising to waive loans of small farmers if BJP is voted to power. Rahul drew a parallel between Modi’s ‘achche din’ promise with ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ film. “But after 2.5 years of becoming PM, he became Gabbar Singh of ‘Sholay”, Rahul said.

Attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his ‘adoption’ remarks, Priyanka Gandhi questioned the people if UP need to adopt someone for development. “PM ne kaha mujhe UP ne godh liya aur mein UP ka vikas karoonga. Kya UP ko vikas ke liye kisi ko godh lene ki zarurat hai? (PM said Up has adopted me and I’ll develop it but does UP need to adopt anyone?),” she said.
2. UP’s youngsters are enough for its development
Adding to her previous remarks, she said Uttar Pradesh’s youngsters are capable enough to develop the state and do not need anyone else’s support. “UP ka har naujawan neta ban sakta hai, aur UP ka vikas kar sakta hai (every youngster in UP can be a minister and develop the state),” she said.
