While speaking at an event Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the government will increase pension for ‘divyangs’ (Persons with Disability or differently-abled) from Rs 300 per month to Rs 500 per month. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to promote welfare of the ‘divyangs’ and the government is coming up with many other new schemes to help the people. Adityanath added that even when he was in Gorakhpur, people were coming to him with their problems and his government is consistently working to solve them. He continued that this government has come to help people and told people that they must have noticed the difference in law and order of the state since BJP came into power. “This government is committed to solve the problems of public,” he was quoted as saying by the news agency ANI.

Talking about his government’s work, he said the loans of sugarcane farmers have already been paid while the state will get good roads by 15th June. “UP ki pehchaan bann chuki thi ki seema waha se shuru hogi jahaan se gaddha-yukt sadke shuru hongi,jahan se shaam ko andhera shuru hoga. Hum logo ne ye sunishchit karne ko kaha hai ki 15 June ke ander Uttar Pradesh ki sadkein gaddha-mukt ho jaayein,” added the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
He added that the government won’t allow Pratapnagar’s sugar mill to shut down and will make sure that all the villages and districts of Uttar Pradesh get electricity. “Har zila mukhyalaya ko hum 24 ghante bijali denge. Har tehsil mukhyalaya ko 20 ghante aur har gramin kshetr mein 18 ghante bijali denge,” Adityanath was quoted as saying by the agency. The Uttar Pradesh CM said a new policy will be formed for sugar industries.
