Former Tamil Nadu chief minister O Panneerselvam during a press conference later this evening has urged the AIADMK MLAs to think wisely before voting in the floor test tomorrow. Reaching out to entire AIADMK MLAs, the former TM CM said, “I reiterate to AIADMK MLAs to please think wisely before casting your vote tomorrow. Don’t buckle under pressure.” He has also asked the MLAs to vote against the trust vote in order to safeguard the interests of Amma (late J Jayalalithaa).

The final conclusion to approach the Speaker in this regard was taken after hours long hectic discussion at Pannerselvam’s residence on Friday morning.
Even, DMK leader MK Stalin says that people of Tamil Nadu have suffered a lot during the political crisis and if the Chief Minister E Palaniswamy will seek the vote of confidence tomorrow, his party will oppose it. Earlier today, the Election Commission has issued a notice to V K Sasikala on a petition that has been filed by Dr. V Maitreyan, challenging her nomination as general secretary of AIADMK. Sasikala is currently serving her term in jail after being proved guilty in the DA case in which late Jayalalithaa was a co-accused. Panneerselvam had said that Sasikala is only an interim general secretary and the EC should hold a poll for the post.
