Perhaps no other politician in the country is as vibrant as External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Twitter. She not only responds to tweets from people in trouble, but keeps her followers in good humour and even sometimes let them peek into her personal life. On Thursday she met her husband Swaraj Kaushal and shared a photo with him. She also tweeted: “Together after many years – a chance meeting with @governorswaraj at the Parliament House gate today…He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 1998-2004. I was in Lok Sabha. Then I came to Rajya Sabha in 2000.”
In another Tweet, Sushma said: “Together at home, not in the Parliament.” Swaraj shared that Kaushal was governor of Mizoram from 1990 to 93. The husband and wife were in the Rajya Sabha between 2000-2004. In the photo, Sushma is seen in a happy mood, holding hands of her husband, while Congress leader Digvijay Singh and UP BJP leader Vinay Katiyar are also smiling behind the couple. Kaushal is a senior lawyer in the Supreme Court of India. He was also one of the youngest person to be appointed governor of a state in India at the age of 37.
