External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday went on social networking site Twitter and informed the public of her kidney failure. 64-year Swaraj, who had been admitted to AIIMS on Monday, informed that she was undergoing the process of dialysis. She also sought the blessings of Lord Krishna. Swaraj is admitted at the cardio-neuro centre under the supervision of Balram Airan, Chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre.
The AIIMS doctor told reporters that Swaraj is a diabetic patient, which was one of the causes, that hurt her kidneys. Although, she has been reported to be stable. He said that EAM Swaraj’s sugar level remains on a constant high, which is the cause that she was facing severe diabetic problems. Swaraj is one of the key ministers of the Modi cabinet, who has made a name for herself by working out the common folks’ issues via Twitter.

Earlier, the 64-year-old BJP leader had been admitted to AIIMS in April after she had complained of chest congestion, hospital authorities had said. She had also been also brought to the premiere hospital on October 25 for a “routine” medical check-up.
