Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been at constant loggerheads with Jung over who has the final say in administering the national capital.
While Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sharping his knives against LG Najeeb Jung, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday tweeted that Jung was unsuited to head the capital, while calling AAP convenor a “420”.
Swamy tweeted that, Najeeb Jung is unsuitable for the post of Lieutenant Governer and is another 420 like Arvind Kejriwal. He also said that a member from the Sangh Parivar is required to be in the top rungs of the Delhi government.
In my opinion, this LG of Delhi Mr. Jung is unsuited for this high post. He is another 420 like Kejri. We need a Sangh person in Delhi

The ongoing feud between Kejriwal and Jung is witnessing new twists everyday. While the former alleged that many of his ministers were transferred without notifying him or any of his cabinet ministers, Jung on Monday said that Kejriwal’s statements pertaining to the penalty on discoms and cancelled the Delhi government’s order, were “incorrect and misleading”.
The Delhi High Court earlier this month ruled that the national capital was a Union territory and that Jung had the final say in all its matters. The bench in its August 5 order ruled that the Capital “continues to be a Union Territory” under the administrative control of the Lt Governor and “does not acquire the status of a State”. The decision was followed by the AAP government moving an application challenging the ruling in the Supreme Court.
