Seeking attention of the House for the "urgent developing issue", Swamy said the matter should be resolved soon through the court.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy raised the Ram Mandir issue in Rajya Sabha once again today. Seeking attention of the House for the “urgent developing issue”, Swamy said the matter should be resolved soon through the court.
“This matter should be discussed here (Rajya Sabha) so that harmony can be established in the country,” he said, adding a day-do-day hearing of the case should be held so that Ram Temple could be constructed in Ayodhya. He further said that the BJP has assured people in its manifesto that the matter will be resolved through court. “In BJP manifesto,we had made a solemn assurance that as per the legal method, through the courts, we will find a solution,” ANI quoted him as saying. “Question has to be addressed that this matter has to be settled through courts. All parties agreed, there should be day to day hearing,” he further said.
Swamy had raised the Ram Temple issue in the Rajya Sabha last month also. He had demanded early disposal of the case related to the Ram Temple. Earlier in May this year, Swamy had said that one of his mission of 2016 is to make sure that the work on Ram Temple in Ayodhya begins by the end of this year.
Today 11.30 am In RS I asked govt to agree to my demand for day to day hearing of Ram Mandir case and send law officers to inform this to SC

In February this year, the Supreme Court had agreed to hear Swamy’s plea to “re-build” Ram Temple at the Ramjanambhoomi site where Babri Masjid was destroyed by kar sevaks in 1992. In his petition to the SC, Swamy had asked the court to allow Hindus to build the temple. He had said that the “exact” place of birth of Lord Rama was at the disputed site and held sacred by Hindus.
