The Janata Dal (United) on Wednesday said caste based data must be made available for the promotion of the Skill India Mission.
“Until the correct number of poor, and the caste based numbers of the poor is assessed, we cannot ensure their social and economic empowerment. If they want to promote Skill India, then caste based data must be made available to the public,” Janata Dal (United) leader K.C. Tyagi told ANI.
Prime Minister Modi today formally launched the “National Skill Development Mission” and unveiled the new “National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015”.
Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Manohar Parrikar, Suresh Prabhu, Anant Geete, J.P. Nadda, Ananth Kumar, Narendra Singh Tomar, Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Piyush Goyal and Santosh Kumar Gangwar were present at the event.
