According to the reports of NewsKarnataka.com, Aamir was admitted in the hospital nine days ago when he was suffering from a severe illness. The doctor suggested an X-ray after which Fahmida went looking for a wheelchair or a stretcher to ferry her husband to the room. Fahmida says the hospital staff allegedly demanded money to provide her with a stretcher. As she was not able to pay the money, the only option left with her was to drag her husband to the X-ray room.
Meanwhile, the hospital Director Dr Sushil Kumar, has ordered an internal inquiry into the incident within two days of the incident. KR Ramesh Kumar, the Health Minister, has also taken cognisance of this incidence. Kumar told reporters that the government is looking into the matter.
