In the latest developments, Shiv Sena spokesperson Manisha Kayande has once again come out in support of the party MP Ravindra Gaikwad by calling the airlines ban on him illogical. Speaking to the news agency ANI, she said, "Illogical that other 4 airlines also put R Gaikwad on a no-fly list. He is not a criminal." Her statements came right after a lot of drama happened on this issue in the Lok Sabha session on Monday morning. The Ravindra Gaikwad issue was a heated topic in the Lower House as another Shiv Sena MP Anandrao Adsul defended him saying why no action wasn't taken against comedian Kapil Sharma. "Even Kapil Sharma misbehaved on flight after getting drunk but no ban imposed on him," said Anandrao while defending Ravindra Gaikwad. The aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju responded to the remark by saying that even an MP is a passenger on a flight and should not be given a special treatment. "We have good safety regulations but never in my dreams expected a Parl Member to be caught. Rules are the same for everyone," he said. Earlier, Shiv Sena had asked for a reply from Ravindra Gaikwad. "The party has sought an explanation from Gaikwad over the incident. The Sena does not condone violence of any kind," Harshal Pradhan, media adviser to Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, told PTI. "We have also sought a version of the incident from the AirIndia (AI) staffer. The Sena has a workers\u2019 union in Air India," he said. Even Manisha\u00a0Kayande had clarified that the party doesn't endorse or support any such act. "Shiv Sena does not subscribe to such reaction by any of our party members. Gaikwad is known as Ravi Sir and is very popular in his constituency. He has worked a lot towards solving the water problems of his region. We really should know what made him lose his temper. He is not a person who would suddenly jump into such a thing," she said.
