The Shiv Sena on Wednesday defended its stand on opposing the musical concert of Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali in Mumbai, saying that his party is against terrorism spread by Islamabad, and not the singer.

“Ghulam Ali’s concert will take place when Pakistan stops terrorism and improve relationship with India. Yesterday, also four of our soldiers were killed. Till the time it continues, how can you talk about holding a musical concert?” he asked.
The Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena, the cine wing of the Shiv Sena has sought to cancel the show of the Pakistani singer in Mumbai, scheduled on October 9.
