In response to Anandrao Adsul, Civil Aviation Minister said that the rules are the same for everyone. He also went on saying that the state-owned airline cannot discriminate between different classes and that they cannot compromise on safety. “We have good safety regulations but never in my dreams, I had expected a Parliament Member to be caught.” The rebuttal session took another turn with the SP leader Naresh Agarwal asking Civil Aviation Minister to resign from his duties.
Earlier also, Naresh Agarwal came out support of Gaikwad by saying that the ban called by Airlines goes on showing their goonda gardi. Members of Shiv Sena had called for a ban in Osamabad over the issue of airline banning one of their Shiv Sena MP from all airlines and putting him on the no-fly list. The ban by the airline came in response to the on flight scuffle with a 60-year old duty manager of Air India. Air India had alleged Shiv Sena MP of mishandling and abusing their employee over not being able to fly in the business class.
