On Sunday, Kapil Mishra claimed he had seen Arvind Kejriwal taking Rs 2 crore from Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain.
A day after making a shocking corruption allegation against Aam Aadmi Party chief and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Cabinet minister Kapil Mishra made another allegation against him on Monday.
Talking to reporters, Mishra alleged that Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain had “settled” a Rs 50-crore deal for Arvind Kejriwal’s “saarhu” (brother-in-law). Mishra claimed that Jain had told him about the deal in a private conversation.
According to Mishra, Jain had settled the land deal for a 7-acre plot for just Rs 50 crore in south Delhi’s Chattarpur.
Mishra further said that he would meet the CBI at 11.30 am in Tuesday and submit all the “proof” to back his allegations in a sealed envelope. He would also lodge an FIR and be present as a witness.
Mishra also dared AAP leaders to sack him from the party. “PAC meeting would take place at 7 am today. I dare them (leaders) to sack me from the party. I am getting threats and messages on phone,” Mishra told reporters.
The AAP MLA also attacked AAP leaders for claiming he was colluding with BJP. “Saying I am colluding with BJP is baseless. Everyone knows I have been the most vocal critic of BJP and Modi ji in AAP,” Mishra said.
Earlier in the Day, the AAP legislator submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to back his allegations that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had delayed the probe into a Rs 400 crore tanker scam.
On Sunday, Mishra claimed he had seen Kejriwal taking Rs 2 crore from Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain in another case. He also alleged that probe into the tanker scam, which took place during Sheila Dikshit’s tenure as Delhi chief minister, was repeatedly delayed and influenced by Kejriwal and “his two men”. The tanker scam relates to alleged irregularities in the hiring of private tankers to supply water in Delhi.
Talking to reporters on Monday, Mishra said he shared all the evidence related to the tanker scam with the ACB. “I told the officials how Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal deliberately delayed the report and how public money was misused.”
“Also, I told them how Kejriwal along with his two men affected the tanker scam probe. The government also tried to shield Sheila Dikshit time and again. ACB will call me again for a detailed investigation.”
Mishra was sacked as minister on Saturday. He has also demanded a lie detector on his allegations that he was an eyewitness to the Rs 2 crore exchanging hands between Kejriwal and Jain. He said that a lie detector test be conducted on all three.
AAP has, however, refuted all allegations made by Mishra against Kejriwal and Jain.
