The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has found shocking laxity on the part of Ryan International Public School Gurgaon in the case of brutal killing of 7-year-old student, news agency ANI has reported. The SIT probe was initiated after the case received media attention and state government assured of a speedy probe. The police had even registered an FIR against the School CEO Ryan Pinto and his parents, who are its founders. Meanwhile, the School Co-founder even approached the Bombay High Court seeking anticipatory bail. Earlier, two top officials of the Ryan International School were arrested by Police, PTI reports. Haryana Chief Minister had assured that culprits in the case won’t be spared. Khattar has said that probe in the murder of seven-year-old boy will be completed within seven days and those found guilty will be punished. Meanwhile, SIT probe report is out and here are some points that it raised and more:

1) Lack of separate toilets: The probe report says that the school lacked separate toilets for students, drivers, and others.
2)Broken boundary wall: The probe has found that boundary wall of the school was broken, posing a potential risk to students’ safety, ANI reports.
3) Faulty CCTVs installed in the schools: The Special Investigation Team has found that faulty CCTV cameras were installed in the school premises. CCTVs not covering the entire premises: Not only the CCTVs installed in the premises were faulty, but they were not ever covering the entire school area. I.e. there was a lot of space not covered by CCTV, the report says.
4) Expired fire extinguisher: The fire extinguisher installed were expired, another safety risk for students and teachers.
5) Presence of a liquor shop virtually next to the school – this was allegedly burned to the ground by protesting parents on Sunday.
