Lady Shri Ram College for Women student Gurmehar Kaur, the daughter of a Kargil Martyr in an exclusive interview with Rajdeep Sardesai, she comes forward to clear her motive, says, 'How can I be somebody's pawn?' Gurmehar who has been in the news ever for quite some time now has come forward to prove her stand and explains what she is expecting. In her interview, Kaur said that she does not belongs to any political party and all she believes is in a bully free campus. She further said, "I am angered by what is happening in Delhi University. I am just 20 years old. Campuses are where debates happen. I am receiving rape and death threats, which is not OK. We need a violent free campus. I am a peace activist." Virendra Sehwag reacted to Kaur\u2019s earlier video where she said: \u201cPakistan did not kill my dad war did\u201d. He commented, \u201cBat me hai Dum! #BharatJaisiJagahNahi.\u201d Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda also applauded Sehwag\u2019s reply. Gurmehar also replied to MoS Home Kiren Rijiju's tweet asking who is \u201cpolluting\u201d her mind, "I have my own mind, nobody is polluting my mind. I am not anti-national," said Gurmehar. He said, \u201cABVP is a nationalist organisation. While other organisations have different views and let them express it, why should outsiders go and disturb the peace of campuses.\u201d Naidu added that while dissent is allowed, there should be no space for disintegration. Delhi police has confirmed that two women police constables will provide security to Gurmehar Kaur around the clock.
