Ram Rahim case: Haryana cops raid 6 places in Bikaner in search of Honeypreet

The Haryana police has unsuccessfully raided six locations in Bikaner searching for Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, for the last two days.

The Haryana police has unsuccessfully raided six locations in Bikaner searching for Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, for the last two days. A team of officers from Panchkula’s Sector-3 police station raided locations in Pilibanga, Lunkarnsar, Sri Kolayat, Jamsar, Jagdewala and Gurusar Modiya, but to no avail, a police officer said.

The search team comprised Deputy Superintendent of Police Mukesh Malhotra, Circle Inspector Aman Kumar, Sub-Inspector Naresh and some women officers. They were assisted by the local police.

Gurusar Modiya in Sriganganagar district is the native place of Ram Rahim. “We have arrested Dera chief’s aide Rakesh Kumar from Sirsa in Haryana who revealed that Ram Raheem has an ashram in Bikaner. A team of the Haryana police with the help of the local police, raided the suspected Dera hideouts in Bikaner,” Malhotra said.

Bikaner SP Swai Singh Godara also confirmed the development and said the joint search operation did not yield any success.
