Home minister added that if need arises, India will cross the border to enter Pakistan and hit terrorists.
India’s message to Pakistan with the 2016 surgical strike should not be forgotten, said Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Pali, Rajasthan on Tuesday, ANI reported. Home minister added that if need arises, India will cross the border to enter Pakistan and hit terrorists. He called out to Pakistan to recall that message once again. Singh said that the Border Security Force (BSF) has standing orders to give a befitting reply to Pakistan if it shows any type of aggression.
At another event in Haryana’s Kaithal, Singh said, “We have tried to mend relations with them, but the neighbouring country, Pakistan just does not want to mend their ways”. “People should keep trust on the forces. Indian soldiers successfully executed operations against terrorists on Pakistani soil after (Uri) attack and gave a strong message to the world that if needed, Indian soldiers can hit terrorists on their soil,” PTI quoted Singh as saying.
The Home Minister said that the Director General of BSF has orders that the first bullet shouldn’t be fired from India’s side but ‘if Pakistan fires first then bullets fired from this side shouldn’t be counted’. In the Narendra Modi led government, India’s head has been held high in front of the world, he said. Since BJP came to power, India is no longer weak, he added.”We have destroyed their posts after entering their territory and are proud of our soldiers and army and have immense faith in them,” said Singh PTI reported.
At an event in Rajasthan’s Pali on Tuesday he said, “People should have faith in Indian Army soldiers’ chivalry.” He said that the government would not let any harm to be done to people’s honour and pride.
