In yet another accident involving a Railways train has come to light. The Guwahati-Silchar passenger train hit an auto-rickshaw in Srikona, Cachar district in Assam on Sunday leaving three people dead. The exact details of the incident have not emerged as yet. The Indian Railways has gone through a tough time with back to back train accidents reported in past few weeks. Recently, a coach of Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express went off tracks on September 14 at the New Delhi Railway station in the national capital. Luckily no one was injured in the incident. Before that, on September 7, A Delhi-bound Ranchi Rajdhani Express went off tracks near the Minto bridge. One person was injured when the engine and power car of the Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani derailed as it was approaching the Delhi railway station, according to reports. On September 9, the engine of the Kashi Vishwanath Express had derailed at the New Delhi Railway Station while going towards the yard, a railway official said.
