Gandhi, riding in an open top vehicle, was seen looking at the shoe thrown in his direction and then looking away after the object missed him.
Later, Rahul has blamed RSS and BJP for the attack. He said, “I will keep fighting”. The police immediately detained the youth, a PTI report said. The youth was heard saying “roadshow is useless”, according to an eyewitness. Prima facie, the youth has no political links, police said. Police have ordered a probe into the matter.
