In an interesting aside today during his interaction at the PHD Annual awards for Excellence 2017 in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi was asked quite a personal comment by boxer Vijender Singh and he was quick to respond to it. When asked about when he is intending to get married, Rahul Gandhi made this comment very seriously, “Jab hogi to hogi. I believe in destiny.” When asked about his marriage, Rahul Gandhi was startled, he then went to talk about his fitness regime and the activities that he takes up on a daily basis.

Congree VP Rahul Gandhi at the PHD Annual awards for Excellence 2017 in Delhi launched at attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “One develops trust by listening to each other. Today there is no one in govt ready to listen to the pain of our people.” While talking about Pm Narendra Modi and the Central Government, he added, “Business runs on a psyche of trust. Trust in this govt is dead. PM and govt are convinced every single person is a thief.” He then went on to talk about black money and said, “All cash is not black, all black is not cash.”

While talking about Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Gandhi said, “Business are drowning, but Mr. Jaitley has the nerve to go on TV every other day saying things are just fine.” He added, “Globally India is being asked again and again if it still believes in its values of compassion and non-violence.” He then went on to talk about the debate that has been going arounf the Taj Mahal and said, “People once looked up to us for our values & leadership, today they laugh as we’re busy debating whether Taj Mahal was actually built by Indians.”
