Self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa, who recently courted a controversy after sitting on a SHO’s chair in New Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area, is reportedly in big trouble now. As per an ANI report, a Delhi based lawyer has filed a police complaint against her. Radhe Maa, who is accused in two separate cases including of dowry harassment in Mumbai, had recently arrived in Delhi where she was allegedly accorded VIP treatment by cops at a police station, as per news agency ANI.

The report had said that station house officer (SHO) of the Vivek Vihar police station also offered his chair to the controversial godwoman. An image, posted by the news agency, where Radhe Maa was seen sitting on the chair of SHO went viral on the social media. An India Today report said that SHO also wore Radhe Maa’s chunari as a mark of his respect towards her. Not only this, Radhe Maa was also given a floral welcome at the East Delhi police station on her arrival, a report said.

The police soon initiated a probe in the incident and suspended the station house officer of Vivek Vihar police station, Indian Express had reported. Apart from the SHO, ASI Radhe Krishan was also suspended, head constable Pramod, and constables Hitesh and Ravinder were also sent to District Lines by the Delhi Police officials.

Taking cognizence of the matter, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik had ordered an inquiry into the incidents. Chief police spokesperson Dependra Pathak had told  Express that an additional DCP will conduct the probe. “Further action will be taken after the final findings. The message is clear. No such unprofessional misconduct will be tolerated,” DCP (Shahdara) Nupur Prasad said.
