Apart from the SHO, ASI Radhe Krishan was also suspended, head constable Pramod, and constables Hitesh and Ravinder have been sent to District Lines by the Delhi Police officials. Earlier, visuals had surfaced showing controversial self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa sitting on the SHO’s chair and swaying with policemen at a Ram Lila function in Delhi. Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik had ordered an inquiry into the incidents.
An additional DCP will conduct the probe, Chief police spokesperson Dependra Pathak told The Indian Express. “Further action will be taken after the final findings. The message is clear. No such unprofessional misconduct will be tolerated,” DCP (Shahdara) Nupur Prasad said.

A photograph purportedly taken at the Vivek Vihar police station shows Station House Officer Sunjoy Sharma, draped in a red and gold shawl worn by Hindu devotees, standing next to Radhe Maa with folded hands. She also makes an appearance in a video recorded at the Ram Lila function at GTB Enclave where five police personnel from the GTB Enclave police station are seen singing patriotic songs as she sways to their tune and in the end also lip syncs with them. She is also heard saying, “All the countrymen should stay with harmony” after signing off with Jai Shri Ram, even as the policemen also join in, PTI had reported. The incidents happened on the intervening night of September 28 and 29. The five policemen in the video, which was uploaded on Radhe Maa’s Facebook page, are assistant sub-inspectors Braj Bhushan and Radhe Krishan, head constable Pramod, and constables Hitesh and Ravinder, a senior police official was quoted as saying by PTI.
Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa, who has attracted eyeballs for her glitzy pictures on social media, is at the centre of several controversies. Earlier this year, a Mumbai-based woman had approached the Bombay High Court alleging that Kaur instigated her in- laws to harass her for dowry.
In 2015, a BJP MLA from Gujarat had demanded a probe against Kaur in connection with a case where seven members of a family committed suicide. On April 28, the Bombay High Court has asked police to record the statement of a city resident who had alleged that self-styled godwoman Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa had instigated her in-laws to harass her for dowry.
