TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide case has again become active with the revelation of the transcript of her last phone call with her then partner Rahul Raj Singh. Neeraj Gupta, the lawyer representing the Balika Badhu actress’s parents revealed the details of the 3-minute conversation to Mumbai mirror on Friday. Gupta has accused Rahul Raj Singh of forcing Pratyusha Banerjee into prostitution which he believes to be the cause for her suicide.
In the transcript provided, Pratyusha is heard saying that she did not come to the industry to sell herself. In the recording, she tells Rahul Raj that she had come to work. She asks him about what situation he was putting her into.
She says, “And where are you putting me today? Rahul, you have no idea how bad I am feeling right now.” She is also heard calling Rahul Raj selfish and accused him of spoiling his name.
Neeraj Gupta says that Pratyusha had used the word ‘prostitution’ in the same conversation and this it was quite clear that “she was forced into prostitution by Rahul”.
Rahul Raj had previously gone on record saying that her parents had been forcing her to earn money somehow, due to which she had been upset and under a lot of pressure.
Gupta is reported to filing an application for reopening the case.
