Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned into a guardian angel for an 8-day-old baby girl in Assam. He was able to get the right treatment in time for the little girl who was suffering from a serious problem of lung malfunction. With the help of the Prime Minister, the baby was airlifted via an air ambulance and brought from Dibrugarh in Assam to the national capital for treatment. The rescuers along with the baby reached the New Delhi airport by 7 PM but were stranded there because of the heavy Delhi traffic. PM Modi with his last minute intervention was able to get the girl to the Ganga Ram Hospital in time for her treatment.

The parents of the baby girl are thankful to PM Modi and the Delhi police for helping them and saving their daughter. Drubjyoti Kalita, who is the father of the 8-year-old girl in an interview to the Mail called Modi ‘god’. He said that the Aditya Hospital in Dibrugarh had asked them to go to the Ganga Ram hospital in Delhi for the right treatment of their daughter who is suffering from a critical condition. The little girl’s parents said that they owe their lives to PM Modi and the Delhi police because without them saving their daughter would not have been possible.
Drubjyoti Kalita in an interview said, “We contacted the senior IPS and other officials that work in the Delhi police for help, but no one could do anything. We were worried as to what will happen to our daughter. But luckily, the rescuers were able to admit her to the Ganga Ram hospital within 13 minutes.” The girl was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. According to latest developments, the child was out of danger and her health is steadily improving. During medical examinations, it was revealed that the baby was suffering from a meconium aspiration syndrome due to which every time the baby breathes, contaminated fluids are released in to the respiratory system.
