Narendra Modi Mann Ki Baat: In his latest radio address to the nation, PM Modi has spoken on a number of subjects focussed especially on the common, the youth and children. With the Teachers’ Day looming, PM Modi took the opportunity of presenting a new mantra that would hold teachers and schoolchildren in good stead boosting education and in excelling in academic pursuits, respectively. While presenting his views, PM said, “Teach and transform is the mantra that should be followed in academic.” Prime Minister in his address compared teachers to mothers and said ”When we speak about transformation, just like we think about mothers in our families, we think about teachers in our society”. The Prime Minister added, ”On this teacher’s day, let us resolve that we teach to transform, educate to empower and learn to lead”.

The Prime Minister while speaking about the role played by teachers in society quoted scientist Albert Einstein, saying ”The supreme art of the teacher is to awaken the joy of creative expression and knowledge”. After quoting the physicist, PM Modi said can we as a society run a campaign in mission mode. The Prime Minister encouraged people to create an atmosphere in which we encourage an experience of joy and success in life, adding that such an atmosphere can be created in India’s schools, colleges and other educational bodies. PM Modi also asked people to come together and take a resolution to run a campaign to teach to transform, educate to empower, learn to lead.
