A day after hitting at Parliametarians for not letting both Houses of Parliament to function properly, President Pranab Mukherjee has today said that the plural character of the country, can’t be substituted with uniformity and added that the straightjacket uniformity, even if imposed won’t succeed. While expressing his concern over continued disruptions of the Parliament, he had said that the parliamentary freedom must not be used by causing disruptions. Disrupting the Parliament had become a habit of late, the president had said.

They also accused the PM and BJP of informing their close ones on the demonetisation scheme even before it was announced.
