Pakistan’s deep state has prepared a plan to attack six Indian cities in response to Indian Army’s surgical strikes operation across Line of Control last months, India TV reported on Monday quoting sources. The report said that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has sought help from terrorist groups to target Indian cities. However, the report doesn’t reveal the names of cities on radar. The Indian intelligence agencies have already shared the details with the center which has issued a nation-wide advisory asking states to be extra vigilant against attempts by terrorists. The report mentions the name of terror organisation Jamaat-e-Islami. It says that several terrorists from the group were given precise information and training in Bangladesh between March 15 to July 31 earlier this year on how to launch attacks. The information has already been shared with the Indian Coast Guard during a meet. Also, the details have been shared with several intel agencies including RAW, IB, Defence Intelligence and Marine Intelligence.

The report surfaces at a time when there are heightened tensions between India and Pakistan at international level over the issue of terrorism. It is believed that Pakistani forces will retaliate cowardly in response to Indian Army’s successful Surgical strikes along LoC. Indian army, in successful operation, has destroyed 7 terror launchpads and killed around 50 terrorists across LoC. The strikes were carried out after a cowardly attack by Pakistan-backed militants, which left 19 Indian Army Jawan martyred at a base camp in Jammu & Kashmir’s Uri.
