On early Tuesday, three soldiers were martyred in the Machhal area. Out of them, the body of one of the soldiers were recovered in mutilated state. This was the second such incident after the strike last month by the armed forces, which had come in retaliation to Uri attack, in which 19 soldiers were killed by the terrorists.
In a statement, the army had said that three soldiers were killed in the action on LoC, adding that the “retribution will be heavy for this cowardly act”. The army further said that the incident showed the barbarism pervading in official and unofficial organisations in Pakistan. Pakistani army’s border action team and militants have carried out combined attacks on Indian forces in past.

More shockingly, Rs 2,000 notes, which was recently introduced by RBI, were recovered from the terrorists. Security forces had cordoned off the area after the terrorists who were holed up there opened fire. On October 28, Mandeep Singh Rawat was killed and his body was also mutilated by terrorists in Machhil sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
