Pakistan has today confirmed of not having enough proof against Kulbhushan Yadav, whom it has labelled as an Indin Spy. Sartaj Aziz, the advisor to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs has told the Pakistani senate that the PML-N government was provided with insufficient evidence that the accused was a Research And Analysis Wing (RAW) agent.
Country’s news channel Geo TV, has quoted Aziz as saying tha the dossier on Kulbhushan Yadav had caontined only statements and no strong evidence. Kulbhushan Yadav was nabbed by Pakistan during a raid in Balochistan in March earlier this year.
As per the Pakistan government, Yadav had admitted of directing several activities in Balochistan and Karachi at the behest of RAW since last three years. He had also apparently confessed of playing a role in falling law and order situation in Karachi.

On the other hand, the Indian Governmnt issued not less than five to six note verbales to the Pakistan foreign ministry inorder to get consular access to Yadav, but Islamabad has showed no signs of allowing it till recently.
Pakistan has also claimed Yadav to be a commander-rank officer with the Indian Navy, even as India maintained that he had retired from the Navy in 2002 and has had no role with Indian government when he was picked from Balochistan. All along, India has denied Yadav to be it’s spy and maintains that he is a businessman.
