Padmaavat release live updates: Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat is all set for a pan-India release today after Supreme Court stayed the ban imposed by various states. However, the movie has been facing violent protests by fringe groups across the nation.

The city police yesterday took more than 100 supporters of the Karni Sena into preventive custody as they gathered to hold protests against the film at various places, an official said.
