OROP row: Rahul Gandhi blames PM Modi for ill treating families of ex servicemen

Hitting out at the government, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that the treatment meted out to the familes of ex serviceman was not right. "Whether you like it or not, the government has failled to implement the one rank one pension (OROP) scheme.

Directly blaming the government’s faillure to implement OROP, the Congress vice president said,”Narendra Modi Ji you should stop lying and work to implement OROP.”

After meeting around 60-80 ex servicemen Rahul Gandhi shared that what Prime Minister Modi is calling OROP is simply pension enhancement. “Cant understand what’s happening in the country, no respect for farmers and no respect for our ex-servicemen.”
