Actor Prakash Raj, who is in news for his political comments these days, has come up with a ‘reverse’ Darwin theory. Raj, referring to Union Minister Satyapal Singh’s recent comments on the human evolution for Apes, said that reverse is being witnessed and linked the same to politics. “Our ancestors have not seen ape evolving into man, says minister. But dear sir, Can you deny that we are witnessing the reverse….man evolving into ape by digging the past and trying to take us back into STONE AGE……#justasking, (sic)” he said. In what turned up to a big controversy, Singh had recently said Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution is “scientifically wrong” and suggested it needs to be changed in school and college curriculum across the country.
“Darwin’s theory (of evolution of humans) is scientifically wrong. It needs to change in school and college curriculum. Since the man is seen on Earth he has always been a man,” said Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development while speaking to reporters in Aurangabad on Friday. Also, he said the theory was nowhere mentioned by ancestors. Singh, who is an ex-IPS and formerly held the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner, was elected to Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat constituency. However, this is not the first time that his comments created a controversy.
Earlier, he had said how many boys shall be willing to marry a girl who goes to her wedding in a jeans.

The minister had earlier commented that- “Koi ladki jeans pehenkar ke shaadi ke bedi pe jayega to kitne ladke usse shaadi karna chahenge? (If a girl wears jeans and goes to her wedding, how many boys will want to marry her?)”. The minister was in Aurangabad to participate in the ‘All India Vaidik Sammelan.’ “Nobody, including our ancestors, in written or oral, have said they saw an ape turning into a man,” observed the Minister. “No books we have read or the tales told to us by our grandparents had such a mention,” the minister added.
On the other hand, actor Prakash Raj, who has played a number of popular roles in Bollywood and South is making headlines these days for his proactive comments on political developments. Recently, while speaking at South Conclave 2018 organised by India Today said, Raj said: “I am anti-Modi, I am anti-Hegde (Anant Kumar Hegde), I am anti-Amit Shah.” Prakash Raj further said, “And, according to me, they are not Hindus.” Citing a reason behind his controversial remark, he added, “The person who supports killing cannot be a Hindu.” He added, “When they can decide that I am not Hindu, I will tell them you are not Hindu.”
