Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday targetted Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and said that nobody in the country took him seriously. Chouhan said that Gandhi had no seriousness in anything he speaks of. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister was of the opinion that the entire country had welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation drive to curb down the stem of black money and fight terrorism. He said that the Prime Minister always thought of the country and whatever was in the interest of the nation.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Hansraj Ahir too reciprocated Chouhan’s statement and said that nobody ever takes Rahul Gandhi seriously as he himself was not a serious person. However, Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress Party said that it was the government who did not take the words of its leaders and its people seriously. Reflecting on the MP Cm’s remark about Rahul Gandhi, he said that the government must be scared as they were speaking such absurd things about the Congress Vice President.\

Meanwhile, actor turned politician Raj Babbar advised that Bhartiya Janata Party to not take Rahul Gandhi lightly. Speaking to reporters, Babbar said that when Rahul Gandhi had spoken earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to sell off his “suit-boot”. Earlier yesterday, Rahul Gandhi had made the attack against the BJP government personal, when he claimed to have some personal information about Prime Minister Narendra Modi being involved in corruption. Although, he said that he wasn’t being allowed to speak in the parliament.
