Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today questioned the benefit of the step taken by the NDA Government on demonetisation. He also questioned how will the step benefit a country like India. During the interaction, he also called the demonetisation move a monumental mismanagement and observed that the cashless economy didn’t work anywhere.

Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a televised address introduced the demonetisation of high valued notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, Nitish Kumar had openly supported the drive and had asked JD(U) party leaders to support the move, bringing angry reaction from Opposition parties.
