Narendra Modi Lok Sabha speech LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi after roaring over Congress in the Lok Sabha has carried on with his frontal attack on the grand old party in the Rajya Sabha as well. Modi, in his Rajya Sabha speech, took a dig at the Congress asking ‘if you don’t want a ‘New India’, then do you wish for an India of Bofors scam?’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his speech, attacked the dynasty politics played by the Congress party. PM Modi also enumerated the pro-poor schemes undertaken by the incumbent government. PM Modi also pitched the idea of ‘One India One Poll’ and stressed for simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections.
Earlier, in his Lok Sabha speech, he said that Congress only served one family and not the nation. In a scathing attack on the Congress, he said that has Sardar Patel been the first PM of the nation, Pakistan wouldn’t have taken a part of the Kashmir. The opposition created ruckus during his speech and shouted ‘sadan mein drama band karo’. However, declaring a full-fledged war on the Congress and preparing a pitch for Lok Sabha elections 2019, PM Modi said that ‘slogans can’t tone down my voice’. Lauding the incumbent government’s push towards development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said, “The NDA Government has changed the work culture in the nation. Projects are not only thought about well but also executed in a timely manner.”
