Addressing a public gathering in Udaipur today, the prime minister said,”We know very well that if we need our country to reach new heights, we have to modernize our entire system,” ANI quoted him as saying. While inaugurating the number of highway projects at the function, the prime minister said farmers will immensely be benefitted from these projects, “Better roads will help our farmers immensely. This is one of the reasons why Atal Ji dreamt of strong roads network across India.”
“We are standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Rajasthan who are battling the floods. We have assured all possible support”, the prime minister said while assuring support to the flood affected people in Rajasthan.
Addressing the audience, the prime minister further said that the focus of his government is to boost timing of project and making sure they are up as soon as possible. He added, “Some of the projects being inaugurated were pending for years. Our focus is on timely completion. We will complete projects we begin.”
“Tomorrow I will be visiting Rajasthan, the land of the brave, where I will inaugurate and lay the foundation of key National Highway projects,” Prime Minister Modi had tweeted earlier, ANI added. In another tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I will address a public meeting in Udaipur. I will also visit the Pratap Gaurav Kendra and pay my respects to the great Maharana Pratap.”
