Addressing the US Congress, many foreign media organisations seem to be very impressed by PM Narendra Modi.

A lot of Congressmen hailed the speech, House Speaker Paul Ryan called it ‘eloquent’ and several members even clamoured for autographs.

Addressing the US Congress, Modi stressed on the importance of the relationship between the two countries. Modi in his address hit all the right notes and went on to say that the United States is now an indispensable partner in India’s forward march in all sectors.

Clad in his trademark white kurta pyjama and grey-coloured half-jacket, Modi was applauded several times during the address, in which he spoke about improving bilateral trade, strengthening of economies, promoting renewable clean energy, improving cyber security, and combating terrorism.
