MK Stalin demand White Paper Report on Jayalalithaa’s death, urges center for detail report on treatment given to her

Following the death of the phenomenal Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, DMK treasurer MK Stalin, today, demanded for White Paper Report on the AIDMK leader's demise from the state government and also urged the central government for a detail report on the treatment given to her.

Following the death of the phenomenal Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, DMK treasurer MK Stalin, today, demanded for White Paper Report on the AIDMK leader’s demise from the state government and also urged the central government for a detail report on the treatment given to her.

Earlier, a Chennai-based NGO Telugu Yuva Sakshi had filed a Public interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court for a CBI probe into the death of Jayalalithaa besides recovery of all medical documents. The NGO has alleged that suspicious poisoning was the cause for her death, adding that all her wealth transactions should be stopped till the conclusion of the case.

Serving five terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalaithaa died on December 05, 75 days after being admitted to the Apollo Hospitals for intensive treatment. Being admitted to the hospital with complaint of fever and dehydration, the senior AIDMK leader had died of cardiac arrest. No specific information on the on going treatment of Jayalalithaa was made public during her admittance at the hospital. There had also been a petition, recently filed at the Supreme Court, by a local organization, urging for a CBI invedstigation
