Massage parlour owner molests Austrian women in Udaipur; detained by police

Austrian tourist was molested in a massage parlour situated at Hanuman Ghat area in Udaipur. The Police has detained one person in the matter soon after the Austrian women logged a complaint.

In yet another molestation case, a 21-year-old female tourist from Austria was harassed Udaipur in Rajasthan. As per PTI, the Austrian tourist was molested in a massage parlour situated at Hanuman Ghat area of the city. The Police has detained one person soon after the Austrian women logged a complaint. A foreign tourist named Biyanki, went to Bharti Massage parlour to get acupuncture treatment. During the massage, the parlour owner Rajendra Sharma started touching her with ill intentions. Biyanki immediately resisted and rushed out of the parlour and informed the police about the entire incident.

SHO of Ambamata Police Station informed that the police has taken the issue with utmost priority and the accused Sharma has been taken into custody. Police is now investigating the matter with Sharma. Speaking upon the issue with PTI, SP Rajendra Prasad said, “The womans statement has been recorded. The accused has been arrested. The embassy will be apprised of the matter.” As per reports, the woman is a research scholar and has been staying in the city for the past three months.

This is not for the first time that such heinous incident has taken place in Rajasthan. Some time back, a man had accused eight teachers of a private school in Bikaner of raping his minor daughter and also making the video of the act. The incident came into light when the girl’s father logged an FIR against the same. As per police, the accused were booked under section 376-D of the Indian Penal Court for gangrape including other related sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
