In a shocking revelation, it has been found that 8 of 10 thugs convicted for attacking Malala Yousafzai were freed only weeks after being jailed.

While the Pakistani officials had proudly declared to have imprisoned 10 Talibana over the attempted murder of Malala Yousafzai, it was all a sham, the Mirror has reported.

According to the sources, the trial had no credibility and only two of those accused are serving the 25 years of sentence that was given to the whole gang.

The arrests took place in September last year to seek justice for Malala Yousafzai, who was 14 at the time when Taliban gunmen her singled out.

A gunman had fired three shots at Malala Yousafzai, which hit the left side of her forehead and then went into her shoulder.

Following the attack, she had remained unconscious and in critical condition, and was transferred to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for intensive rehabilitation.

Malala won Pakistan’s first National Youth Peace Prize, 2013 Sakharov Prize and was also awarded a Mirror Pride of Britain gong by David Beckham.

She became co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
