Sanjay Raut on Tuesday claimed that a few of the rebel MLAs along with their families were still in touch with the party. “We are hopeful that they would return to us,” Raut said. He added that the Leader of the Opposition in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis should not get involved in the crisis unfolding in the MVA government. “If they do, then their party, Fadnavis and PM Modi’s names will be tarnished,” Raut said.

Maharashtra governor seeks explanation from government for issuance of 160 Government Resolutions in three days
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has asked the state chief secretary to provide complete information of all Government Resolutions (GRs) and circulars issued by the state government from June 22-24, according to a letter by his Principal Secretary Santosh Kumar, a directive coming in the middle of political crisis triggered by a revolt in the Shiv Sena.
The direction to provide information comes after the departments — mostly controlled by ruling allies NCP and the Congress —- issued government orders for the release of funds worth hundreds of crores from June 22-24 for various development-related works. PTI
Senior Maharashtra BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar on Monday claimed his party has not held any discussion with rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde nor received any proposal from him, against the backdrop of the current crisis that has gripped the MVA government.

The rebel Sena group led by Eknath Shinde is learnt to be strategising to approach the Governor, informing him of their decision to withdraw support from the MVA, and thereby, prompting a floor test.
“The Shinde faction is likely to approach Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhawan, informing its decision to distance itself from Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government,” The Indian Express quoted highly placed sources as saying.
